Issa is a six year old Great Dane. Her journey began in Serbia, before she was brought to the US for the purposes of breeding. Knowing she was destined for so much more, Issa made her disinterest in this line of work clear and was rescued by Jacob in order to fulfill her true passion as a Nervous System Regulator. 

Issa specializes not only in cuteness, but in attunement. Whether it’s squeezing between you and your partner on the couch during a tense moment to diffuse the intensity, or leaning against you while you process and talk through difficult content to help ground you; Issa always seems to know what you need. The work done in a therapy room can be difficult and scary, but Issa is there to make sure you know you aren't alone.

She is a gentle giant who is happiest taking a snooze, trying to befriend dogs far too small for her, or munching on pig ears. Issa has limited visibility, so please excuse any incidents of walking into walls, objects or people you may witness.
