Debbie Freeman, LMFT
Debbie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 28 years of clinical experience, licensed in California, Tennessee, and Michigan. She believes that therapy is most effective when it’s grounded in genuine listening and meaningful engagement, creating a collaborative space where growth can take root.
Debbie specializes in supporting individuals, couples, teens, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, infertility, life transitions, and relational or social challenges. Her integrative approach draws from a range of evidence-based modalities—including talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma work, couples and family therapy, hypnosis, and deeper narrative exploration—allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
With a background as a Director of Clinical Services and professor of Psychology, Debbie brings both depth and versatility to her work. She approaches therapy with compassion and acceptance, helping clients build on their strengths and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
Because of her extensive expertise, Debbie focuses on effective, intentional therapy—progress is always the priority, not endless sessions. She offers free initial consultations to help you determine if working together is the right fit.
Individuals, couples, teens, and families are welcome, Telehealth only.
